Yale Nordic Ski Team

The Yale Nordic Ski Team is dedicated to traversing snow in as many ways as possible!  We are backcountry skiers and nordic  skate skiers and are excited to share the beauty of winter with you!

The two co-captains of the team for the 2019-2020 season are Charlotte Winkler and Eileen Norris.  Charlotte is primarily a backcountry skier.  She loves taking her AT or backcountry cross country skis and skinning up mountains to find the untracked wilderness downhill skiing.  Eileen has a background in Nordic Ski Racing and will amaze you with her incredibly fast skate skiing techniques!

This season we hope to take a variety of trips that include both backcountry and nordic skiing.  Some ideas currently include the White Mountains and Lake Placid, but we are open to your suggestions!  Lodging and transportation will be organized by us and rental gear and food will usually be able to be subsidized by the team.
